Matthew recently sold his favorite car, a 1971 Corvette Stingray covertible, on ebay and donated the full $61,000 he raised to build a playground for the Rindler family on the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday afternoon.
Not only that but Oprah aired a clip showing Matthew helping out on with a construction project helping local contractors turning what was once nothing but a muddy lot into a play area for kids in the neighborhood.
He really enjoyed the experience and said “We schedule our work, we schedule our vacation and service is kinda the harder one, selfishly sometimes, to schedule. But I’ve noticed that for me and for everyone that I know who signs up to go give some time to something, as soon as you’re done, it feels like a vacation, from the inside out.”

What is he going to do with the money? Well he’s donating it to Oprahs Angel Network which is to be used to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
He must have really loved the car as parted with it saying “The lines on this ‘vette are my favorite lines on any sports car. It’s got the shoulders and the hips. It’s got muscle and it’s built for drivin’. You don’t get it for the gas mileage – it’s not a Tiptronic Porsche. When you wanna get it, you feel the horsepower in your backside. The music in this car is listenin’ to the engine… for me it’s the quintessential, bare bones, bad a*s American sports car.”

No No we are still a Matthew McConaughey fan site it’s just recently his friends have been complaining, apparently Matthew doesn’t wear deodorant because he enjoys his own natural scent.
It’s not that he doesn’t have a good sense of personal hygene I mean he brushes his teeth often more then 5 times every day he just doesn’t like deodorant.. his friends just disagree with his personal choice.
